Autumn Jazz

Autumn is coming,

Some call it ‘Fall’.

Changes are happening,

Some big and many small.

Days getting shorter,

Leaves turning brown,

Floating so softly,

On their way down.

Autumn is cooling,

Waving farewell to the sun,

Winds are blowing wildly,

But the good times aren’t done.

So celebrate Autumn,

With its colour and pizzazz,

Go gather your friends up,

Sip wine and listen to jazz.

  1. It is hard for me to think about autumn when it is daily over 40 degrees outside. The poem is nice though and actually made me feel nostalgic about autumn. Thank you for sharing!
