I found this poster very informative and a great way to show some of the environmental impacts of Halloween. It has also included some quick fixes and ways of reducing the environmental load.

Wow that’s a lot of pumpkin waste! And other waste too. That makes me sad. When we were younger, we used to make our costumes out of things we already had, but that’s not done so much anymore and people go out and buy costumes made of toxic materials.

That’s a lot of waste for one night of the year. We recycle our pumpkins at our local farm and also re-use existing decorations so that keeps it down a bit!
