Sad today,

Reality scorned,

Ageing fast,

History warned,

If only I could go back,

Take away the pain,

Feel like my life,

Goes down the drain,

Depressed today,

Need a new light,

I’ll brush myself off,

Do what is right,

You never know,

Dreams can still come true,

But part of me will always,

Still look out for you.

I will aim for the moon,

And sleep near the sun,

Try new adventures,

Have lots of fun.
