Kicking Up A Storm – Poem

Check out my storm poem about the recent bad weather.

When the wind blows,

And the skies are dark.

In the icy air,

A storm begins to spark.

Trees are swaying,

Fences rocking,

Dustbins turned over,

The devastation is shocking.

Storm Eunice is here,

Loudly making its way,

Across the country,

Unhinging the day.

But why are storms more likely?

Why do they strike so much?

Let’s face it – global warming

Is the reason as such.

So if you don’t want this to happen

Increasing every season,

Push governments to change things

And reduce pollution – because that’s the reason.
