My heart broke today,
The pain came to stay,
Will it ever go away?
My heart broke so fast,
Why does this torture last?
My heart needs a plaster cast.
My heart broke in two,
What can I do?
I wanted to see things through.
My heart broke with a snap,
I want to fall down a trap,
I feel like I am lying in crap.
My heart broke last Sunday,
Or was it Monday?
It was certainly a sad day.
My heart broke with friction,
Was it a work of fiction?
I ask with some conviction.
